About

I am a proud father of four, juggling life with two teenagers and two toddlers, and always making time for outdoor adventures. My family’s motto, “love God, love people,” is at the core of who I am, reflecting my belief in the strength of community and the importance of lifting one another up. Professionally, I bring 25 years of business leadership experience and 5 years of clinical training to my work as a counselor. After leading large teams and developing leaders in the corporate world, I discovered my true passion in counseling and earned a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Colorado Christian University with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. Today, I integrate my leadership experience and passion for fostering growth into my work with families, couples, and individuals to help them flourish. I believe that strong relationships are essential for personal development and the overall strength of the community.

About

Ashley Manley works with individuals, couples, and families, including adults and clients ages 12 and up. People often come to her during life transitions, the early and tender season of new motherhood, relationship and communication struggles, questions of identity and self-worth, and the weight of anxiety or depression. Her style is warm, authentic, and relational. She wants therapy to feel less like a clinical exercise and more like a real conversation — one where clients can show up exactly as they are. Ashley balances compassion with gentle, honest reflection, helping clients notice patterns and explore new ways of responding. Her approach is emotion-focused and pays attention to history, attachment patterns, and the relationships that shape how people see themselves and move through the world. With couples, she draws on Gottman-informed tools and research to strengthen communication, connection, and repair. Ashley’s work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method Level 1 training, Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Faith integration is available when welcomed by the client. Ashley respects each client’s beliefs and creates space for the whole of who they are, whether or not faith is part of their life. Ashley offers telehealth across Colorado for individuals, couples, and families ages 12+. Sessions include 50-minute individual sessions, 50- and 80-minute couples sessions, family sessions, and free consultation calls.

My Approach

At Mountain Pathways Counseling, I believe that healing and growth occur in an environment that fosters trust, understanding, and empathy. My approach is built on the foundation of holistic well-being, addressing not only emotional and mental health but also the relational and physical aspects of life. I use a variety of emotionally & solution focused therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Method (Level I & II) to support my clients. Each person’s journey is unique, and I customize our approach to fit your individual needs.

Whether you’re working through trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I provide the guidance and tools you need to move forward with confidence. I prioritize creating an environment where our clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make lasting changes.
