EMDR & Trauma-Informed Therapy Intensives

Trauma Healing Intensive

FIND FREEDOM FROM THE PAST

EMDR & Trauma-Informed Therapy Intensives

At Mountain Pathways Counseling, EMDR and trauma-informed therapy intensives are designed for individuals ready for focused trauma work — and who want dedicated space to engage meaningfully in the healing process.

Trauma work does not benefit from rushing. Some clients reach a point where weekly sessions feel too fragmented for the work they are prepared to do. EMDR Intensives offer extended time for continuity, regulation, and integration within a carefully structured, trauma-informed framework.

A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO HEALING FROM TRAUMA AND DISTRESS

What Is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is a structured 3- or 6-hour therapy block that allows for deeper trauma processing without the interruption of short weekly sessions. This format provides time for preparation, processing, and grounding — all within the same day.

SAFE, STRUCTURED, AND CLIENT-CENTERED

How Trauma-Informed Intensives Work

EMDR Intensives are not about doing “more therapy faster.” They create the right conditions for trauma processing to occur safely and effectively.

  • Careful assessment of readiness and stability

  • Intentional preparation and nervous system resourcing

  • Trauma processing paced to your capacity

  • Built-in breaks and regulation support

  • Time for integration and grounding before closure

Your nervous system — not a schedule — sets the pace.

Investment & Structure

EMDR and trauma-informed therapy intensives are offered in two formats:

3-Hour Intensive: $600

6-Hour Intensive: $1,200

The appropriate structure is determined during a consultation and depends on readiness, goals, and clinical appropriateness.

Readiness & Clinical Fit

Not everyone is a good candidate for an EMDR Intensive. This work requires:

  • Emotional stability and coping capacity

  • Willingness to engage in preparation and follow-up

  • Openness to slowing down and staying regulated

If additional stabilization or weekly therapy is recommended first, that guidance will be provided with care and transparency.

To protect the depth and safety of trauma work, EMDR Intensives are offered in limited availability. This allows for proper preparation, containment, and integration for each client.
